Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Marlon Campbell is a
prolific Multi-Media Designer and Technical Director, working primarily
in New York City. He has served as Technical Coordinator of both Aaron
Davis Hall (City College of New York), and the Ruth Seaton James Centre
for the Performing Arts (Hamilton, Bermuda). As the Production Manager
of Vy Higginsen's Mama, I Want to Sing!, and its sequels, Mr.
Campbell designed and coordinated performances at Madison Square Garden,
Union Square Theatre, Washington's Warner Theater, Nashville's Grand Ole Opry, Louisville, Kentucky's Whitney Center, and Der Weiner Konzerthaus
in Vienna, Austria, as well as tours of Germany, Switzerland, and Japan.
In addition, he formulated the curricula and served as Instructor for
courses in Theatrical Production, taught at the South Orange Middle
School, in New Jersey, Long Island City's LaGuardia Community College,
and Bermuda's Cedarbridge Academy. An award-winning web designer, Mr.
Campbell is also an instructor in Computer Science at the Saint Albans
Multipurpose Community Center.
He proudly serves as Executive Director of Theatre of the Living Word,
based at the Presbyterian Church of Saint Albans. An active member of
the congregation, he currently sits on the Deacon Board and Christian
Education Commission.
Mr. Campbell is a happily married new father,
living in the wilds of Queens Village, New York.
