Street Ethics Magazine
Marlon Campbell is a the Editor-in-Chief of
Street Ethics
Magazine, the
award-winning Internet-based news and features publication, which went
live more than twelve years ago. Readers from all over the world
have enjoyed both the original stories, news feeds, and numerous links
to interesting and educational resources on the net.
Of particular note was a short piece called
'Unfinished Business,' which accurately presaged President Bush's
fateful entry into Iraq, even as the White House was adamantly denying
any such intentions. That story, along with much of the magazine's 2001
output, was translated and archived by the government of Italy as part
of their official historical record of the 911 attacks.
Street Ethics also features coverage of health and fitness issues. The
provocatively titled 'Are You Getting Enough?,' which explores the
symptoms and risks of Iron Deficiency Anemia is the most-read piece ever
published on the site. With thousands of page views, it has been updated
and re-posted several times. Other pieces have discussed infant
communication, exercise, anthrax, AIDS, Human Papilloma Virus, and
efforts to resurrect the deadly Spanish Flu virus.
Mr. Campbell is a happily married new father, living in the wilds of
Queens Village, New York. His hobbies include cooking, temporal
mechanics, and mystery fiction.
